Created in a collaboration between high school consultants at the Norwich
Technology Unit and professors at the Arthur Miller Centre for American
Studies at the University of East Anglia in England, The Crucible CD-ROM
serves the needs of students of literature, American studies, history, and
theater. It features:

   * Complete text of the play, annotated with glossary and notes
   * Essays on the background of the play, including overviews of the
     play's 17th century setting and the author's 1950s reality
   * Maps, illustrations, and original documents
   * An exclusive video interview with Arthur Miller answering forty-eight
     questions on the writing and significance of the play
   * Video interviews with cast members of London's Young Vic youth theater
     on their production of the play
   * Interviews with actors, set designers, and directors including Dustin
     Hoffman, John Malkovich, and Vanessa Redgrave
   * Intelligent links between relevant sections of the disc
   * Critical essays, both contemporary and modern
   * Search engine for close textual study and note-taking and book-marking
     capability
   * Index and bibliography
